These positions could be located at any of the Adult Learning Centers in the five-county service delivery area and are under the supervision of the Director(s) of Instruction for Adult Education. These positions will involve teaching basic academic skills in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, or English as a Second Language. These positions would work with instructors to teach lessons according to the College and Career Readiness Standards. Must be available to teach daytime and/or evening classes, maintain a safe and secure classroom environment, and participate in professional development activities, if desired.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Educational Level: A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university preferably in education, math, science, business, or a related field.Excellent organizational, computer, communication, and interpersonal skillsSALARY/BENEFITS: Salary is $22.50 per hour.
