Chattahoochee Technical College, Marietta Campus, seeks a Part-Time Adult Education Instructor to teach ABE/ASE and HSE content in mornings. Under supervision of the Director(s) of Adult Education, you will prepare lesson plans aligned with College and Career Readiness Standards and guide learners toward their goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating student progress, maintaining required documentation, participating in staff development, and maintaining a secure classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university, preferably in education, math, science, business or related field.
• Teaching and classroom management experience at the secondary or post-secondary level.
• Experience with High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation students in an open-entry, multi-level classroom; experience administering standardized tests; knowledge of HSE content.
