Alaskan Brewing Company in Juneau, Alaska is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Administration, Marketing and Accounting. The role requires the ability to switch between tasks, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy brewery office.

You will handle shipping, donation requests, mailings, scheduling, and communications while providing excellent customer service. The position is part-time, in-office, with a starting wage of $24/hour DOE, and benefits including sick leave and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move packages up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Proficient with desktop computer and phone; strong Outlook skills.
• Experience in an office setting performing administrative duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Commitment to high-quality customer service.

Responsabilités

• Handle shipping of beer samples and POS items from Juneau.
• Assist with donation requests and fulfillment.
• Process label, coaster and sticker requests.
• Take photos of production runs and events as directed by Marketing Manager.
• Manage the general brewing inquiry email.
• Review main phone line voicemails and route as needed.
• Distribute mail and send packaging notices; assist with USPS or FedEx shipments.
• Oversee general supplies ordering (Staples) and Costco runs.
• Assist with filing or scanning projects and annual accounting archive.
• Support Sales hospitality by setting up VIP tours and greeting guests.
• Assist with vehicle registrations.
• Help with travel reservations and apartment usage management.
• Set up for Board meetings and prepare Board Packets.
• Coordinate HR business card orders.
