Job description

PED-CHILD PROTECTION PROGRAM (IN-PCPS-IUINA)

The Department of Pediatrics employs nearly 1,000 faculty and staff who work alongside employees of Riley Hospital for Children and students of IU School of Medicine (IUSM) to make Riley Children's Health Indiana's largest and most skilled pediatric system. At IUSM, our mission and core values define who we are, how we act, and what we aspire to accomplish.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide in-person support and management of office activities for the Pediatric Child Protection Program.
  2. Organize, coordinate, and support administrative activities for both faculty and staff of the division.
  3. Assist with day-to-day management of office space (mailbox, maintain supplies, scanning, filing).
  4. Answer phones, emails, voicemails, and distribute messages accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
  • 2 years of relevant experience
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment
  • Effective communication skills

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Location and Compensation

Indianapolis, Indiana

$20 - $25 per hour, based on experience, skill level, education, and training.
