Job summary

The ESC Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio in Independence, OH, is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Clerical for the Ohio Substitute Teacher Service (OSTS) Department. This part-time role spans 2-3 days per week, 7.5 hours daily, with potential to lead to full time.

The position supports the Manager and Service Team, handling administrative tasks with a focus on accuracy, organization, and proactive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in customer service, receptionist, hospitality, or office operations.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills; warm, professional demeanor.
• Able to multitask across responsibilities with accuracy and composure.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, and email.
• Proficiency with desktop/file management and working in a network environment.
• Self-directed with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistant/clerical support to improve OSTS dept efficiency.
