Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education, Education, Educational Technology, or a closely related field.
• Relevant professional experience supporting K–12 students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of assistive technology, accessibility tools, and instructional strategies used to support students with diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to using current, evidence-based pedagogical practices, including effective course and curriculum design.
• Commitment to student learning, mentorship, and developing meaningful professional relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Teach an undergraduate course in Assistive Technology during the Spring 2027 semester.
• Course will be taught in person on Saint Joseph’s College campus, meeting twice weekly (Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:45pm–4:30pm).
• Focus on assistive technology devices/services, needs assessment, appropriate technology supports, integration into instruction, and evaluation of effectiveness for diverse learners.
