Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana in Lafayette seeks qualified adjunct instructors to support course delivery in a temporary, part-time capacity. Adjunct positions are posted to build a pool of qualified candidates for future openings as Adjunct Instructors.

The instructor will create a learning environment to help students reach their goals and provide instruction and assessment within syllabi provided by the School. Canvas proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach assigned courses and facilitate learning.
• Familiarity with Canvas and common instructional technologies.
• Provide effective instruction and assessment within syllabus framework.

Responsibilities

• Teach scheduled classes and maintain attendance/grading records.
• Develop syllabi aligned to course requirements and Canvas usage.
• Be available to students outside class time and communicate with coordinators as needed.
• Meet all scheduled classes and use current instructional technologies.
