Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks an adjunct faculty member in Business Administration to deliver assigned courses, follow college policies, and help students reach their goals. You will develop syllabi, use technology to enhance instruction, and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes engaging teaching methods, professional interaction with students and staff, and adherence to safety procedures in all learning environments. This is a part-time, semester-by-semester position.

Qualifications

• Possesses a master’s degree or higher in business administration, business education, public administration, management, marketing, or a related field as appropriate to the program
• Master’s in related/out-of-field with 18+ post-secondary credits in business administration, public administration, management, marketing, or related field
• Bachelor’s in business administration with documentation of two or more qualifying credentials (certification, experience, teaching excellence, publications, or additional coursework)

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials
• Maintains accurate student records and grades
• Engages with students to provide a positive Ivy Tech experience and implement active teaching strategies
• Interacts with students and colleagues professionally per College policies and FERPA
• Implements safety procedures for classrooms and labs
