The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Part Time Adjoint Instructor NP/PA (PRN) to provide clinical care in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include patient care for low-acuity ED cases, triage, data review, and education under physician supervision.
Active CO licensing as a PA or NP, plus BLS/ACLS and a relevant graduate degree, are required. Preference for Spanish speakers; on-site work in the Denver metro area.
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will provide clinicalcare in the Emergency Department at the University of ColoradoHospital, as delegated by a person licensed to practice medicine inColorado.
Principal activities include patient care in our Super Trackenvironment (continuation of care of ESI 3-4 patients) working in aClinical Decision Unit in the Emergency Department, as well asworking collaboratively with Faculty Attendings on more complicatedpatients in the main zones of the ED. Delegated medical careincludes, but is not limited to, the assessment, treatment and careof patients of all age categories. It is expected the employee willbe competent to interpret age specific developmental, physiologicaland unique care needs by assessment and by observation of caredelivery.

The campus is a state-of-the-artmedical campus home to the University of Colorado Schools ofMedicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, the Colorado School ofPublic Health; as well as the University of Colorado Hospital andChildren's Hospital Colorado both of which serve as major trainingsites for the Denver Health Residency in Emergency Medicine.

The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for thisposition has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$90/hr. FTE: 0.25
