Job summary
Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC) is seeking a Part-Time Program Physician to join our outpatient addiction treatment team in Massachusetts, serving Chicopee, Northampton, Greenfield and Westfield. The schedule runs 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, focusing on supervised methadone and buprenorphine care with supportive team collaboration.
The ideal candidate is board-certified or eligible in Addiction Medicine, licensed in MA, and has experience in addiction treatment plus
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Addiction Medicine.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
- Experience in addiction medicine and managing methadone/buprenorphine treatment.
- Ability to sign off on NP/PA charts.
Responsibilities
- Admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
- Obtain history and perform physical examinations.
- Document in EMR and enter dosing orders (written scripts currently).
- Monitor patient dosages with treatment team guidance.
- Consult on high-risk patients and perform annual medication reviews.
