Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an Acute Physical Therapist for a part-time Baylor shift, Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-5:30pm, at Community Hospital. The role includes direct patient care, care planning, and collaboration with hospital staff.

The position requires a physical therapy degree, CO license, and BLS within 90 days. Compensation ranges hourly with extra paid hours for two 10-hour shifts. In-person onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Colorado.
• BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct patient care across ages; evaluate, plan care, implement treatment, and educate patients/caregivers.
• Document promptly to reflect care aligned with standards and guidelines.
• Collect/analyze data from outcomes to monitor progress and intervention benefits.
• Communicate clearly with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership.
• Support budgeting, staffing, billing, and planning to optimize efficiency.
