Elm Wood Post Acute in Claremont, NH is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant to enrich residents' lives through engaging activities. This role involves planning, organizing and delivering programs that meet physical, creative, cognitive, social and spiritual needs in a long-term care setting.

You will document attendance and participation, contribute to monthly recreation services, and attend care plan meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Enrich the lives of patients/residents by planning, organizing and implementing recreation activities that meet their physical, creative, cognitive, social and spiritual needs.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation services.
• Document attendance and participation levels in programs; attend care plan meetings as needed.
