Job summary

INNOVATIVE ARBOR HILLS seeks a dependable part-time activities coordinator to support daily programs for participants. You will assist with planning, setup, and facilitation of recreational, social, and educational activities, while providing friendly support and encouraging participation in group and individual programs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication to maintain an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recreation, caregiving, customer service, education, or similar support roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, setup, and facilitation of activities
• Provide friendly, respectful support to participants during programs
• Encourage participation and foster a positive atmosphere
• Prepare activity materials, supplies, and space before events
• Monitor participant engagement and provide assistance as needed
• Support transitions between activities and help maintain schedules
• Communicate observations or participant needs to the team
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe activity environment
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
