Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking an Activity Aide at our Laredo, TX facility to support the Activity Director in planning, coordinating, and directing residents' activity programs.

The role involves facilitating individual and group activities, assisting with scheduling beauty/parlor events, preparing and posting monthly calendars, contributing to the facility newsletter, and accompanying residents to activities; you will work with staff to ensure meaningful engagement for both

Qualifications

• Educational/Training: A school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
• Licensing: A Certified Nurse Aide is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience working in activity or recreational department in the long‑term care industry or related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group activities based on resident needs.
• Assist with scheduling beauty parlor and barber activities.
• Prepare and post monthly calendars accessible to residents and visitors.
• Assist with generating the facility newsletter and community events.
• Attend in-services and assist residents to activities and to and from events.
• Support Residents’ Council and night/weekend activities as needed.
