Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Full Time Activity Aide at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Weslaco. The Activity Aide will assist the Activity Director in planning and coordinating activities for residents, ensuring engagement for both high and low functioning residents.

Qualifications

• School diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
• A Certified Nurse Aide is preferred.
• Previous experience in activity or recreational department in the long-term care industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and directing the residents' activity program.
• Organize employee and non-employee events for the facility.
• Facilitate individual and group activities based on residents' needs.
• Schedule beauty parlor and barber activities.
• Provide activities for bedfast residents and document appropriately.
• Generate the facility newsletter.
