Cedars of Lebanon is seeking a Part Time Activity Aide to perform activity functions as assigned. As an Activity Aide, you will be responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and many other duties. Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical, and creative expressions
Assist with the organizing, planning, and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being
Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents and families
Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities
Interact with families and visitors of our residents
High school graduate or equivalent
Prior experience as an Activity Assistant
Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team
Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
Patience, understanding, and compassion for those requiring our care
Part-time (20-30 hours/week), Alternate weekends
