You will support the Activities Director, lead group activities, and document participation; two 8-hour shifts weekends 9am-3pm, with potential extra shifts; starting wage $13.25/hour; part-time with flexible options.

Summary

We are seeking someone who is looking for an opportunity to impact the lives of those living at Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation through recreation, arts and crafts, conversation, and interaction. In this role, you will provide opportunities to our residents focused on current and past hobbies, opportunities to explore new experiences and enjoy focused activities on expression and movement through creativity!

This position has a starting pay rate of $13.25 an hour

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Part Time including Two (2) 8-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation as well as the potential to have to work some later shifts depending on scheduled activities and events within the community. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

The schedule for this position is every Saturdays and Sundays from 9am - 3pm.

In addition to our current part-time opportunity, we also have flexible employment options available including Full Time and a great Part Time!

Requirements

• Prior experience in an activity related or customer service focused position
• Strong skills in communication
• Experience with leading a group of people
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• A Degree or education in Recreation, Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Teaching, or Arts is a plus!
