Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a friendly, creative Activities Assistant for part-time PM shifts and weekends. You will assist with planning engaging activities, support residents, and help maintain a welcoming environment.

Education: High school diploma; experience in healthcare or activities preferred. You will work closely with the Activities Director to create meaningful moments and build relationships with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director in planning and leading engaging activities for individuals and groups.
• Encourage resident participation based on interests and abilities.
• Provide meaningful one-on-one activities for residents who cannot participate in groups.
• Assist with outings, events, entertainment, and community activities.
• Help develop and maintain the monthly activity calendar.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families in a welcoming environment.
• Assist with activity documentation, attendance, and care plans as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation for outings when needed.
