Job summary

Life Care Center of West Bridgewater, part of Life Care Centers of America, is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities in planning and delivering engaging programs for our geriatric population.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior geriatric experience is preferred. Shifts include 4pm–8pm and every other weekend, with opportunities to contribute to enjoyable, meaningful activities for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating quality activity programs for patients.
• Chart patient progress and behavior descriptively.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Make regular in-room visits to patients unable to participate in group activities.
• Exhibit excellent customer service with patients.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and patient rights.
• Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior geriatric experience preferred
