Job summary

Life Care Center of McMinnville is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role covering Saturdays and Sundays in McMinnville, Oregon. You will support the Director of Activities in planning, organizing, and directing engaging activities for residents, ensuring their recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs are met in accordance with policies and regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with geriatrics experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience with geriatrics preferred.
• Ability to follow Life Care policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in planning and directing quality activities.
• Chart patient progress and behavior and document appropriately.
• Escort patients to and from activities and visit patients in rooms.
• Participate in planning entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and education activities.
• Maintain professional relationships and uphold confidentiality and compliance.
