Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a part-time role, 25 hours per week, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This on-site position in Nashua supports the Accounting Department with processing invoices, payments, and vendor inquiries.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of AP or related experience, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality in financial data.

Qualifications

• Two years of Accounts Payable, Payroll, or Accounting experience.
• Knowledge of AP principles, 1099 reporting and W-9 compliance.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook; strong data entry skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, validate, and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Code invoices with general ledger accounts and prepare payment batches.
• Prepare weekly check runs and bank deposits.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment disputes.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and support 1099 reporting.
• Protect confidential financial information and ensure compliance.
