Job summary

Sinai Temple is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable/Payment Plan Coordinator to join the Finance Department. The role focuses on cash distributions, payment plans for member fees, and vendor relations in a nonprofit setting.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and proficient in ShulCloud/AccuFund with strong Excel skills. This position supports temple finances and member services with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP.
• Experience with accounts payable and vendor management preferred.
• Customer service mindset with ability to handle payment plans.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate payment plans for annual fees and tuition.
• Input bank and card data in ShulCloud; manage payment plan tags.
• Maintain vendor records and update AP data.
• Process AP invoices, reconcile payments, and ensure accurate postings.
• Prepare 1099s and AP-related filings as needed.
• Verify receipts, signatures, and documentation for payments.
