Atlas OT in Centennial, CO, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist for a part-time role (20–30 hours/week) with hybrid in-office/remote flexibility. You will manage AP/AR, general bookkeeping, and invoicing, with potential to grow into a full-time position as the business scales.

The role reports to the VP of Operations and requires accuracy, GAAP knowledge, and experience with QuickBooks or Zoho.

Qualifications

5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AP/AR).
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho preferred, or similar).
Strong GAAP accounting knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Perform general bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
Support daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor maintenance, and internal control compliance to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Support sales tax filings and compliance (preferred experience).
Collaborate with internal teams and report directly to the VP of Operations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, 1099 reporting requirements, and audit standards while supporting internal and external audit requests.
Complete month-end AP/AR accruals and related close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is accurate and complete.
Identify, recommend, implement, and document process improvements, best practices, and system enhancements to strengthen AP operations and service delivery.
