Madera Community College, part of the State Center Community College District, seeks an Accounting instructor to join a part-time pool serving a diverse student body across campus and off-site locations. Qualifications

• Master’s in accountancy or business with accounting concentration or equivalent; CPA is an alternative qualification.
• Bachelor’s in business with accounting emphasis or economics with accounting emphasis and Master’s in business or related field; equivalency accepted.
• A valid California Community College Credential or equivalent education/experience.
• Equivalency petition allowed if degrees do not exactly match Minimum Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Accounting courses as assigned.
• Use a variety of teaching methods including online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Maintain classroom records and timely grading in accordance with district policy.
