First Gold Gaming Resort in Deadwood, SD is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This role handles invoice processing, vendor records, and basic payment processing to support daily accounting operations.

The position offers a flexible weekday schedule with no weekends, up to 20 hours per week, DOE. Ideal for those with a high school diploma and experience in accounting or AP; familiarity with Excel and accounting software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting/finance or related field is a plus; relevant experience considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting or accounts payable software preferred.

• Must be 21+ and have a valid SD Gaming License or be able to obtain one on hire.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including coding and entering invoices.
• Maintain vendor records and account information for accuracy.
• Research and resolve invoice, billing, and payment discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors about invoices, payments, and balances.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain invoice approvals and resolve billing issues.
• Assist with month-end closing, AP reconciliations, and GL support.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Provide documentation during daily audits as needed.
• Follow accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

First Gold Gaming Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate vendor accounts, assisting with payment processing, and supporting general accounting functions.

This is a part-time position of 20 hours or less per week with a flexible schedule. No weekends required. Pay is DOE (Depending on Experience).

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and account information.
• Research and resolve invoice, billing, and payment discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, account balances, and other account-related questions.
• Work with other departments to obtain invoice approvals and resolve billing issues.
• Assist with month-end closing, including accounts payable reconciliations and general ledger support.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Provide documentation and assistance during daily audits as needed.
• Follow company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
