What you will do as a Bookkeeper/Accountant/Controller

• Generate proper Sales reports for Commission payments
• Coordinate with team members to correctly process domestic and import purchase orders and ensure a timely entry
• Run accounts receivable report each week for each Rep and post customers that are more than 35 days past due
• Oversee the process of uploading Vinosmith sales information on a regular basis to Sage/Intacct
• Coordinate with the team to input new SKU information into Finale/Vinosmith/Sage and relevant Brand Registrations
• Compliance with DOT, FDA, USMCA, and all warehouse and driver-related matters
• Monthly Credit Card processing and reconciliation
• Ensure the expense items are transferred to the proper GLAcct #
• Organize and prepare Sage/Intact reports to fulfill requirements for Lenders to fulfill monthly reporting requirements
• Review monthly income statements and balance sheet line item accounts for four companies to make sure entries are proper, consistent, and in line with GAAP accounting
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including month-end closing items, reviews of entries, and adjustments as needed
• Run Fintech reports weekly

What you will bring to the role

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or as a controller
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products and other business applications
• Experience with Microsoft Excel pivot tables, nesting, and vlookups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams or alone

• Work Hours: Start at 15-20 hours per week, may increase
