Job summary

Allied Universal in Vance, AL seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control to provide reliable, flexible hours and contribute to a safe site. You will ensure access control, assist employees and visitors, and respond to incidents with composure across shifts.

The role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and issuing temporary access credentials.
• Respond to incidents and follow site procedures while notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, parking areas, production-related areas, and perimeter.
• Operate access-control systems and maintain logs and reports.
