Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Vance, AL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents at a site with a six-month commitment. Pay rate is $16.50 per hour, with hours on Sat and Sun from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and entrances to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities as required.
• Maintain detailed reports of patrols, observations, and concerns.
