Job summary

Allied Universal in West Point, VA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control to provide reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

You will support access control, monitor entries, and deliver customer service in a manufacturing setting. The role offers a fixed anchor shift for at least six months and optional extra shifts through the scheduling platform, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel per site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and issue visitor passes.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries and report incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
