Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Brookwood, AL. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts, providing reliable hours and income stability for a part-time career in security.

You will provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers; monitor access points; enforce site policies; respond to incidents calmly; and perform patrols. A HS diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points at an industrial facility, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control access for personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter; environments may vary by location.
