Allied Universal in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Access Validation at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and support a secure environment while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors and contractors.
• Experience with access-control procedures and credential verification is preferred.
• Knowledge of badge issuance and visitor log procedures is advantageous.
• A state, county or city security license is preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining logs, and directing authorized individuals.
• Help protect production, warehouse, shipping, receiving and administrative areas by observing access activity and reporting unusual entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and follow site procedures while notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security concerns.
