Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors and contractors.
• Experience with access-control procedures and credential verification is preferred.
• Knowledge of badge issuance and visitor log procedures is advantageous.
• A state, county or city security license is preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining logs, and directing authorized individuals.
• Help protect production, warehouse, shipping, receiving and administrative areas by observing access activity and reporting unusual entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and follow site procedures while notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Help protect restricted production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and administrative areas by observing access activity and reporting unusual or unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, perimeter areas, parking areas, and operational spaces, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
