Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Access Control in Keasbey, NJ. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform.

The position pays $19.05 per hour with a flexible day schedule and the potential to scale hours. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-specific access-control procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials and logs.
• Screen visitors and contractors and direct them to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities per site requirements.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
