Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Access Control Credential Auditor in Jersey City, NJ. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain access logs to keep healthcare locations safe and welcoming.

The role emphasizes customer service, professionalism, and teamwork. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and at least one year in security; CPR/First Aid preferred;

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization and credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned healthcare areas and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership and report incidents and maintenance concerns.
