Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Control in Dover, NJ. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain access records at a logistics and distribution site.

This part-time role offers night shifts (Mon/Wed/Thu 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM) with pay of $19.05 per hour. You will deliver professional customer service and help deter security incidents as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorized access, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and notify site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Observe and report unusual activity and complete incident documentation.
