Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Observe vehicle, pedestrian, and trailer traffic entering and leaving the facility; report irregularities and policy violations to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
