Job summary

Allied Universal in Richfield, OH seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control to provide reliable hours at a logistics site and the option to pick up extra shifts.

You will perform security procedures, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents while building experience toward a full‑time schedule. Pay is $16.75 per hour with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to earn more.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and maintain entry records, and control access to restricted areas.
• Observe inbound/outbound activity; direct individuals to check-in locations; report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, escalating according to procedures.
• Conduct regular/patrols of entry points, loading areas, and perimeter; document observations and report concerns.
