Job summary

Allied Universal in Greenville, OH is seeking a part-time Access Control Officer to safeguard employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will verify credentials, monitor entry points, and maintain accurate records per site procedures.

This role offers flexible scheduling, a pay rate of $17.51 per hour, and opportunities to grow through training and our Shift-Claim platform.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
A drug screen may be required.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel per site procedures and access-control requirements.
Monitor access points and verify credentials. Maintain visitor and contractor check-in records.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access; inspect deliveries per site procedures.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents and alarms following emergency protocols.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and designated locations.
