Job summary

Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard specializing in access control patrols. You will provide visible security and customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers.

This role offers flexible scheduling with daytime and overnight shifts, paid at $18.00 per hour, and opportunities to learn through our Claim a Shift platform. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, document visitor activity as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol findings and security activities.
