Job summary

Allied Universal in York, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer — Access Systems to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other venues. You can build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform and join a team that values responsiveness and safety. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

As an Access Control Officer, you’ll monitor entry points, manage badges, greet visitors, document activity, and support incident reporting with clear, professional communication.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store clients, visitors and employees.
• Verify credentials and monitor visitor entry/exit activity.
• Respond to access concerns and incidents calmly and follow procedures.
• Conduct patrols of entry points, receiving areas, and perimeter.
• Maintain logs and incident reports for management.
