Job summary

Allied Universal in Sherman, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings at multiple sites.

Pay rate is $18.75 per hour, with a schedule Wed–Thu 05:00 AM–05:00 PM. The position supports part-time employment, income stability, and career growth within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor check-in requirements.
• Maintain access-control logs, issue and retrieve visitor badges, and report access irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies following escalation and response protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
