Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• TWIC issued by TSA.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• State/local security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unauthorized activity or site‑policy concerns.
• Monitor access‑control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment; document observations and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.
