Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Carlsbad, NM for a part-time role. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide superior customer service at a chemical/petrochemical site while adhering to safety and security procedures.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ or 21+ depending on role, and a background check with drug screening as applicable. Shift schedule is provided by the site and may vary.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: a valid driver’s license; 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Criminal histories may be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification and credentials; maintain access-control records.
• Coordinate visitor and contractor check-in requirements; communicate access concerns to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
