Qualifications

As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle access, and support security-related operations. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation; and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Control access to restricted operational areas, coordinate visitor and contractor check-in requirements, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
