Allied Universal in Carlisle, PA is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for Access Coordination to support logistics and distribution sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain accurate visitor records while providing courteous service to employees and visitors.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Sat/Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM), a pay rate of $18.54 per hour, and opportunities for training and career growth within a leading security services

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles (21+).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required. Licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, and control entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
