Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard in Bridgeton, NJ to protect clients across industries. You will manage visitor access, monitor entry points, conduct patrols, and provide excellent customer service on site.

Position Type: Part Time • Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour. Shifts: DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM. CPR/First Aid preferred; high school diploma required; background check and drug screening as applicable.

Qualifications

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screening as required by law.
18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain access records.
Respond to access-related incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, common areas, and the business perimeter.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership regarding incidents.
