Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Access Authorization Security Officer in Seabrook, NJ. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors and employees, and respond to alarms while delivering exceptional customer service in a technology-focused environment.

This role offers flexible day/evening shifts, access to our Shift Claim platform to build a custom schedule, and opportunities for training, growth, and a benefits program.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain access logs.
• Control access to restricted areas, issue and recover visitor badges, and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
