Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Access Operations in Pontiac, MI. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

This role offers a flexible schedule (Mon/Wed 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) and the chance to join a team that prioritizes safety, reliability, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel using site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, controlled manner and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership to maintain a welcoming environment.
