Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel using site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, controlled manner and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership to maintain a welcoming environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, unauthorized‑entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobbies, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and controlled environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
