Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Management in Fairmont, WV. The role focuses on controlling access points, verifying badges, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment at a manufacturing location.

The position offers a $15.00 per hour pay rate with a flexible daytime schedule. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a computer or tablet, have experience with access control, and meet minimum age and education requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle, employee, contractor, and visitor access in accordance with established site requirements, escalating access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
